In race 1 it started drizzling with cars on the grid but it wasn’t wet enough to go to rain tyres. Second into the first corner, Alex put pressure on the leader until he managed to get by and hold the lead until the end, despite the drizzle turning into a steady rain.  In Alex’s words “..the toughest race I’ve had”

Race 2 started in the wet again, but this time there was no doubt rain tyres were necessary. Alex got a great start and by corner two was in the lead and eventually crossed the finish line with a clear lead of 18 seconds.

Race 3 saw Alex start on pole based on his 2 earlier wins. Again it was in extremely wet conditions. He got lots of wheelspin at the start and was 5th into corner one. He fought back through the field  and finished second, only 1.1 seconds from the leader

Alex leaves Barcelona with the knowledge he has the ability to battle it out for the championship but it will be tough. Every track will be new but he also knows he has a very experienced team behind him that will utilise all of its extensive experience in Formula Renault 2.0 to keep Alex in the fight. – on to Le Mans!
